Australia what have we done?

Australian society today is no longer the nation that it was; our young people are drunken brawlers spending their weekends in alcohol fuelled violence rather than the sport loving outdoors image of former generations. Our cities are filled with violent African, Asian and Middle Eastern gangs violently attacking citizens and involved in criminal activities. Despite the strictest gun laws in our history gun violence and criminal shootouts are rife.

There are a number of causes for this decay in the nature of our culture, primarily we have opened our borders and allowed countless refugees to come in without serious examination. We have encouraged the wrong type of refugees by making generous welfare available without qualification. The cause of the failure of our youth is the collapse of our education system. Students today do not know anything about the Bible or why it was the source of most of our laws. They know nothing of Australia’s history or literature having been taught more about the five pillars of Islam than stories such as “Robbery Under Arms”, “Power Without Glory” or even “The Sentimental Bloke”.

This literature provides an insight into Australian history and culture as well as providing interesting entertainment. Older Australians will remember reading stories such as “the Loaded Dog” or “the Man from Ironbark” as part of their early school years. Modern students have no idea who the “cowboy” on the $10 note represents and think the man from Snowy River is a film or a television show. Australia has lost its culture and the multicultural version that has replaced it is failing in too many respects.

Many Australians no longer hold to the sense of mateship and support that was the strength of the earlier society and made our military a unified force with an enviable reputation. No longer do the young have an aversion to drugs and alcohol a desire to excel or a belief in a better future, nor a willingness to work toward that goal. Our society has turned its collective back on all the founding principles no longer wanting anything to do with Britain, the Commonwealth or the Bible. Without these foundations and traditions the once progressive nation is aimlessly drifting toward becoming a third world country; ripe for conquest by any more dynamic or motivated nation. In the not too distant future we could see we could see China, Indonesia and others squabbling over whatever is left of the land, or what they have not already purchased.

Social media has connected us to the world but severed our connections to our neighbours. Young people spend more time gaming in international competitions than in playing ball with their schoolmates and more time on social media than relating socially. This has created a generation that is more connected to technology than to their peers. This has created a generation susceptible to media influence and radicalisation, whether by religious fanatics or right or left wing political forces. We have seen how the left has inspired violent attacks in America when a conservative president was elected. False accusations of racism and criminal activity are readily gobbled up by those who are inexperienced and easily influenced. Extremists and fanatics of all types are inspiring attacks on “infidels”, Mosques or Synagogues thus creating an environment of fear and distrust.

This sorry state of affairs is becoming the norm through most of the western world, our misguided sense of responsibility and belief that our Judeo/Christian culture that was once based on Bible teaching is somehow the cause of the world’s problems. We have allowed leftist ideas of political correctness to influence us to the point that many now believe we must support the entire world population. It is time to face reality the more we give to those who will not work the less we are able to produce and soon shortages will bring famine and associated problems to our previously abundant society.

We have abandoned faith in our creator and even those who have faith are afraid to be vocal about it and admit the truth. It is not “man made climate change” that is about to bring calamity on the world but the actions of our apostate society. Failure to retain the faith and principles that made our society great is leading inevitably to the wars and attitudes that will bring about the destruction predicted in the Bible. Most of the world deny that the hand of the Almighty might be influencing the world but are unable to explain why earthquakes and volcanic activity are increasing exponentially. The shaking and turmoil that is about to come on in the world has more to do with the way we act toward our fellow man than our production of carbon dioxide.

It appears that we are beyond being able to avert the catastrophe that awaits us and signs indicate that we probably have only a couple of years until our fate is sealed. In a previous blog I predicted not only a war and large meteor collision but also a supernova and that the period of the Earth’s rotation will change significantly and a day will be only sixteen hours long. This upheaval will coincide with giant tsunamis, extreme earthquakes and powerful volcanic eruptions the Earth as we know it will be totally changed, but the faithful are promised safety and redemption. Those who wish to exist beyond the upheaval need to begin their learning and do what is right and just; to ensure that they are worthy of salvation.
