Scientists support my theories

Leslie Morrison and Richard Stephenson in October 1998 wrote in Astronomy & Geophysics Vol. 39 “The Sands of Time and the Earth’s Rotation” and Stephenson wrote in Astronomy & Geophysics Vol. 44 April 2003, “Historical eclipses and Earth’s rotation”. Their analysis of the length of the day from ancient eclipse records discovered that in addition to the tidal contribution there is a long-term component acting to decrease the length of the day, which equals:

T/day/cy = −6 x 10−4 sec/day/cy.

This component is consistent with recent measurements made by survey satellites, and may result from the decrease of the Earth’s oblateness following the last ice age. Although this explanation might be correct, and it is difficult to separate the various components of the Earth’s rotation, it is remarkable that this value of T/day/cy is equal to H* if H = 67km.sec−1/Mpc. The discovery indicates that there is a connection between time variation on Earth and the universe as a whole and supports the concept of acceleration in the rate at which we pass through time.

*H = Hubble’s constant, this indicates that there is an overall variation in the entire universe.

In “Can Cosmic Structure Form without Dark Matter?” (Physical Review Letters 97, 231301 - 2006) Fermilab scientists Scott Dodelson, and Michele Liguori proposed a new theory similar in some ways to Bekenstein’s. This new theory however goes against a century of observation and calculation but is able to demonstrate theoretical evidence that an alternative theory suggesting stronger historical gravity can explain the large scale structure of the universe.

These theories and observations support what I first wrote in 1989 in my book The Time Illusion (now available on Kindle) and expanded on in 2006 in Physics God and the End of the World and also explained on YouTube.

Ever since early man watched his fire burn away and the march of the stars and seasons, we have viewed time as a one way procession. We have assumed with this view that not only does time elapse in only one direction but that it does so at an unchanging pace. It was not until Einstein presented his famous theories that we even considered time might be capable of progressing at different rates.

The universe was described by Minkowski as consisting of four dimensions, three of space (length, breadth and depth) and one of time. It is understanding this concept of the time dimension; and how past present and future can all exist at the same instant that has been the stumbling block of science. Even Nobel Laureate Stephen Hawking once a proponent of the “arrows of time” now agrees that all time exists concurrently. The fourth dimension can contain all history from the earliest moments of creation until the ultimate end of the universe. However, the structure of the four-dimensional universe in which past, present and future all inhabit the same moment requires a very specific quantum structure, which Planck demonstrated exists.

German Physicist Max Planck formulated the correct mathematical description of thermal radiation and demonstrated that the process of absorption and emission was “discontinuous”. The energy was gained or lost in discrete increments, or quanta, which are determined by the frequency of the radiation. Planck calculated the physical constant (denoted by the symbol h) which bears his name; Planck’s constant. The significance of Planck’s Constant is that the energy of each quantum, or each photon, equals Planks constant (h) times the radiation frequency symbolized by the Greek letter nu (v), or E=hv. Unless energy is received in the correct quanta it is neither absorbed nor emitted it is to all intent non-existent.

Simply because this energy is not absorbed or emitted does not mean it does not exist. The radiation that is not detected at this very moment because its frequency is not of the correct value could be received or detected if either its frequency was of a different value or our unit of time was of a different length. This is the crux of the four dimensional universe, the energy that constitutes the past and the future exists all around us but we can only detect it when our unit of time (second) is of the correct duration to detect the relevant quanta. In our expanding universe the rate at which we progress through time accelerates because the distances between all objects from galaxies, stars and planets down to atomic particles (quanta) increases. Just as the strength of the earth’s gravitational field is dependent on its size so too is the universe’s gravitational field.

The existence of energy that constitutes both past and future events explains how precognition and similar phenomena can occur. The physical body experiences entropy at the same rate as all other objects in the universe but a variation in brainwave frequency can enable the perception of objects or events occurring at a different position in the spacetime continuum. The brainwaves themselves are energy and can interact with quanta anywhere in space or time as has been demonstrated by Random Event Generators and similar techniques. Cognitive brain patterns are capable of perceiving and affecting far more than that of which we are usually aware, and as we discover more about quantum entanglement we will hopefully discover how to perform these feats at will.

In a nutshell my theory says:
a)      the universe is expanding,
b)      it is entropy which generates the concept of time,
c)      the universe is becoming less dense therefore its overall gravity must be decreasing
d)      Time must accelerate under these conditions.
e)      The universe will appear to expand at an accelerating rate as our units of time measurement decrease. (we discern this as dark energy)
f)        Historic mass appears greater, due to the overall greater density of the earlier universe and its stronger gravitational field. (we perceive this as dark matter)
g)  The manner in which time accelerates is described by the Fractal Equation:

 T-tp ßà T

Where T is the present moment in time and tp is Planck Time, this means each second (or other unit of time) is tor 10-43 seconds (or other units of time) smaller than the preceding second (or other unit of time). This means that time cannot flow smoothly but ticks along in a series of tiny movements and that each moment is 10-43 smaller than the preceding moment, which means this current second is only

as long as the second that preceded it.

It appears that science may yet come to agree with all my concepts, perhaps within a fairly short time and that will open up some very exciting possibilities.

3rd May addendum;

Less than a week after writing this blog scientists have discovered further evidence supporting my original hypothesis. The study's findings are detailed in the journal, Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society.
